We´re in the doldrums

Before boarding on a plane or crossing the border to Costa Rica, take some precautions. To survive a week or two in Tico you better be armed. The best weapon of choice might be a 70-300mm with stabilizer. It is reasonably light, accurate and if you aim well you´ll shoot most of your targets.

Without this there is a big chance you silently pass away during your stay.
Tico actually being Gringolandia, wich has no army of it´s own and doesn´t need to, the 6th largest army of the world is there to protect it´s residents, has a culture that is somewhat tedious to me. And I´m being nice.

So if culture is not the reason to visit Costa Rica, you go for it´s nature. Which is awesome. This Centro American country probably owns the most magnificent Tropical Forests and the diversity in species are uncountable. There is always something colourful flying, hanging or crawling by.

And this is where the armory comes in, without it you´ll feel a bit lost and all this magnificence will stay obscure to it´s observer. For the non observers Tico has sporty divertissements that simply drain your wallet.
Ad hefty fees for every step you make in nature and you´ll realise that leaving charming Nicaragua with it´s poor but beautiful people makes me want to forget the almost 3 hour border crossing at Peñas Blancas and simply go back.
